Fantastic claims

'ozzyimer" from Germany has been posting claims of being able to supply plec to NZ.
First he could supply L46, L98, L173 and 236. If he'd done his homework he'd know that no Hypancistrus species are on the import list so allowed in New Zealand.

After letting him know this and with tongue in cheek suggested that he could bring in L134, and L239 and had willing buyers, he has come back confirming he can indeed supply those fish.

Has anyone dealt with this supplier?

Sounds dodgy and too good to be true. I used L134, L239 as I thought them to be hard to source and supply.
Would like to have more info him as while I personally wouldn't touch that deal with a barge pole, I would like to post something on my local forum to warn them if a warning is indeed warranted. If by chance he is straight up I'm sure he'd understand anyone sceptism

The name is quiet well known (imer), keep your money in your pockets imho.

There does seem to be much suspicion surrounding this person.

The strange part I don't understand is the feedback. Anyone selling zebra
plecos would certainly have more than 11 feedbacks. I have been selling on
Aquabid for 21 months and have a 70/70 feedback. I'm just a hobbyist and
not trying to make a fortune so one would assume that a seller making claims
of having all these rare and desirable catfish would have many more transactions
than I have. I also find using several different usernames disturbing. I mean you
either love me or hate me but I'm "The Jackster" wherever I go on the internet.
