I have read an article and there the autour mention, breeding nets for Corydoras. (less fungusing )

"Breeding nets, which hung from the side of spawning tank"

Better then spawning mops, or ?

Breeding net = Mosqito net or what type of net?

I have used net-cages (plastic frame with fine mesh net around it) for hatching Cory eggs. Just hang it inside the tank and pop the eggs in there.

Is that what you mean?

It was not what I ment BUT maybe that was what the text in the article meant. Maybe I misunderstod the article.
I thougt that a net coluld do the same thing as a spawning mops and that the net has less bacterias....hence no fungusing eggs.

The spawning mops are substitutes for plants as locations for the Corys to place their eggs. They can be easily sterilized to kill bacteria, fungi spores snails and their eggs unlike live plants.

Net breeders are useful for confining new eggs and fry while still providing good circulation of clean water.
It can be helpful to confine the fry so their food can be kept in proximity of the fry. Microworms and brine shrimp nauplii pass right through the mesh of these net breeders so when you need to feed live food to fry then they are not helpful. A friend and I have found that placing a thin light weight plexiglass panel on the bottom of the net breeder is helpful for the fry of some catfish species. By helpful I mean a better survival rate. Not 100% sure why this has been helpful, just that it has worked.

How do you do when you "sterilized the spawning mops to kill bacteria"?

By the way, thanks for a long answer.

Chlorine Bleach ("Klorin" as it's called in Sweden, if I that part of my memory hasn't gone stale).

Maybe my misunderstanding could be useful anyway.

A net, preperad with Chlorine Bleach, hanged down at the four sides of the aqvarium, could be helpful for Corys, who prefers to lay their eggs on the glas.

(Sorry , about my english. It´s hard to write for me.)

No, the breeding net is used once the fish has laid their eggs, when it's used to keep the eggs/fry in the net rather than in the bigger tank. The net is usually about 10 x 15 x 10 cm (W x L x H) in size, and hangs over the side of the tank.

Like this:

The usage of chlorine bleach is to remove any harmful stuff, such as bacteria or fungus. This is done before the <thing> is put in the tank, and can be used on spawning mops as well as breeding nets.
