Bronze cory fin trouble

Hi,
My bronze cory has an odd white thing on the back of its fin. It seems to be acting perfectly normal, but I think that it might be a health problem. I've already applied a "Stress Coat" product, but it hasn't been taking any effect. What is wrong with my cory?
Other fish in my tank: 1 bronze cory, 1 plecostomus, and 2 blue gouramis

Could be an external parasite, but it's hard to give a more conclusive reply without a picture.

Here it is. My camera is low quality, though, so the image isn't that clear:
Any help would be appreciated. I circled the strange fin in black.

The picture is too blurred for me to tell, so I'll take a stab in the dark.
Does it look like this?

If so, then it's Lernea or anchor worm.

I got another image off of the web and edited it to make it look like what it is on my cory. See my above post for the picture.

It's probably either lymphocystis or a tumor. In both cases, there's nothing much you can do (if your fish is healthy, its immune system will eventually overcome the virus responsible for lymphocystis).

I've changed the image again with a clearer picture from my digital camera. This should clear things up a bit.
Ps: Thanks for your help so far.

Yup, looks like lymphocystis. There's nothing much you can do except to let the fish's immune system fight it. Some say acriflavine will help.

Would raising the temperature help the immune system? Also, could the other fish in my tank catch the disease?

Raising the temperature may stress the fish, lowering the immune system. If your fish is healthy, it will eventually cure itself.
And yes, it's contagious (since it's caused by a virus). Better quarantine the fish.

Thanks for the help! Abe Lincoln is feeling much better now, and back to perfect health.
