Macro Lens Safari

Took a trip up into North Eastern Oklahoma went to Natural Falls State Park, Dripping Springs, Spring Creek and Lake Hudson. I kept the macro lens handy during the trip. Here some of the wilder shots I got. Enjoy!
Let's start with a very close up view of some poison ivy.

Next, we have a Salamander. Not sure of species. I took the pictures near the water fall in Natural Falls State Park...There is a pretty good chance this species is endangered or threatened.

Hornet:

Business End of a Preying Mantis:

Lichens?Fungus?Moss?Mold?

Frog:

Hen: *Edit:(darn...I really wanted to say "cock")

Walking Stick eating a Mosquito:

Beetle:
