Is the royal pleco considered an "armored" pleco?

I'm looking for a pleco that can withstand and hold its own against aggressive fish. I assume armored plecos have more "armor" then regular pleco's? Correct me if i'm wrong.
1. Is a royal pleco in the list of armored pleco's?
2. Do royal's suck on the skin of other fish?

Hi.
Is a royal pl*co in the list of armored pl*co's?
All plecos are armoured. Although some a lot more than others, for example the
.
The amount of armour is neither here nor there in my opinion.
If a fish is being constantly attacked, it is likely to be stressed and not enjoying its life in the aquarium, regardless of the amount of armour. In this case it should not be kept with any fish that will attack it on a freqent basis.
Do royal's suck on the skin of other fish?
No, but they may scavenge an already dead fish.
I hope this helps.

I agree with Racoll
It depends if your aggressive fish decide to harrass it - i could tentatively suggest Acanthicus adonis as able to hold it's own with a lot of fish but mixing multiple aggressive species always carries a risk, clearly extensive available territory with multiple retreats will help reduce conflict

Pterygoplichthys scrophus are very good at holding their own but are not very obnoxious.
