Platystomatichthys sturio

I just purchased 2 Platystomatichthys sturio. A shop I know had them for quite a while and I got them both for a good price. Besides size and water parameters does anyone know anything about keeping these animals.

Nothing too surprising... they were a little delicate when mixed with large active barbs, c*****ds & other med/large pims. They were often skittish & could suddenly go headlong into the side of a tank when startled (& easily could suffer from the "bent nose" condition seen in many specimens). The ones i was involved with were very easy to feed on a range of "fishy/meaty" offerings - large earthworms, prawns, lancefish, etc & in a tank with medium water circulation they swam around & appeared to be "on the prowl" for long periods of the day/night.
