Getting on the posted MY CATS keepers page

I have listed my cats on my keepers page. I show as keeping my cats on the species page. But my name is not on the list of Keepers on the MY CATS KEEPERS page. How do I get listed?
I hope this was clear.

Jools, is this really in the right place?
I can't move it myself, so I guess it's up to you to move it if it's not.

Sorry
If this should be in another catagory, just point me in the right direction. It seemed to be in the same category as some of the other posts before me. It looked like a better option than
"ID my Cat." The reason I wanted to be able to access my list easily was because I couldn't remember how to spell C. bilineatus--I just call them San Juans. But I knew I had them listed in MY CATS so I tryed finding my page. I ended having to do an end run.

Yes, I understand that you (Jollysue) didn't know where to post the original post. I'm normally able to move posts around thanks to having moderator privileges. However, I can't do that from this forum "because it's special". So I asked if Jools (the owner of the site) could move it - the other option is that Jools had moved it here, but not posted a note to say "it's been fixed" [or whatever the appropriate answer should be].
You need not worry about any of that - we shall make sure it's corrected.

I've now given Mats access to this forum so he can move it from the "resolved" issues section to the "reported" issues section. However, I don't understand the original question...

Ah, OK, I see the problem now. Let me investigate...

It's not fixed but...

Jollysue,
This whole thing is a bit complicated, so I am going to write down how some of it hangs together as much as an aide memoir as anything else. Feel free to ignore all this until I say it is fixed!
First of all, you only appear on the my cats registered users list and the my cats link appears on your forum posts IF the total number of your my cats entries is set. This is set by the keeper list page whenever you view it e.g.
http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/my_c ... e=jollysue - the page totals all the records shown (at the time of writing there are 35 listed).
However, it stores the total on your contributor record and this is where it goes off track. You don't have a contributor record and there's a queer bit of code in that section that doesn't make sense to me reading it.
I've taken that out.

Well, that broke a load of stuff! This is now fixed, however I am left a bit surprised as this appears to have been not working for a while (e.g. it being broken was not due to the recent forum upgrade).
Anyway, a contender for bug of the month, but as I say, it's fixed now.

PS For anyone else reading this post, if you have my cats entries but don't see the "my cats" link to the right of any forum posts you make, go to
Code: Select all
http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/my_cats.php?task=keeper&username=your forum username
and it will appear!
