Hi Katmandu,
I have one suggestion for your 30-inch tank; get six L260 instead of two unless you can get a sexed pair or trio. Might as well allow for a possible spawning of these lovely plecos.
Good Luck

I am with Larry on having groups of one species instead of various single species in the same tank, the five foot tank could have two groups(pleco's) six or so of each....the interaction between members of the same species is usually more interesting than interaction between mixed species
Make sure your cichlids are not to aggressive....
4 young festive c*****ds
What are these...or does this mean they just like to have fun all day  or do you mean Mesonauta festivus
