Hi, does anyone know what catfish species were allready sold in the chops before 1980 ??
But I mean only South-American catfish species or from the Mochokidae-family.

There were several catfish species available in the 1980's, both South American ones and African ones. Finding a book from that generation would tell you which ones where commonly available.
