Hi there!!

My name is Caroline( nickname cazzy or caz),im kinda new to the fish world and so far so good...kinda.I currently have 2 catfish,one african black dwarf frog ,2 silver sharks and 12 other fishies.

I've had fish now for about 11 months,started off with a 28 litres tank which was nice and easy and now i have a bigger tank of 96 litres .Its been good until now. I have been waiting until the new tank was mature enough to add my catfish and now after all the time i have waited and tried to get the water right, one of my poor catfish is poorly .

I really dont know what is wrong with it and i feel really bad. I didnt notice until i placed him in the new tank( so i may have contaminated that tank now )The poor things lips have gone all strange and look so uncomfortable,almost like they are swollen and have started to peel and go mushy. He has been hiding a little more than normal but then again he has been coming out when i feed them.He hasnt been sitting("sticking") to the side of the tank but i didnt think anything of it. Now i know hes not well, i think its because he cant!!!

I've attached some photos and i was just wondering if anyone out there can tell me whats wrong with him and what i can do to help the poor thing .Hes my favourite out of all my fish and i dont want him to die .HELP!!! !!! !!!

So thats me so far lol.Any help would much appreceated!

That doesnt sound good at all!!!! So if i m reading correctly there is no cure for it . Do you think adding salt would help or is it a matter of wait & see what happens?
