Midland Charity Auction
Posted: 01 May 2008, 00:16
The Midland Charity auctions have been running for some years now. Originally for Killifish but we are slowly expanding & have been auctioning cats for a couple of years.
We put all our profits into charities such as the Air Ambulance & MacMillans Cancer. We offer a base in the centre of the country for catfish auctions. We already have a big participation & this year we are doing Rift Lake fish.
We would like to get all associations interested in helping our event (& charities) out. All fishkeeping Associations are represented at the auctions which we hold in June & December. Next auction is June 8th.
We have a web page here -
http://www.ta-aquaculture.co.uk
Link to the page is top left in a yellow box.
This year we have an extra marquee to play with so this extra space will be used to promote associations. If the CSG want to put on a stand please get in touch. It's free!
The venue is situated by a small lake & this year we have full breakfasts & a pig roast with barbeque later on in the day.
This is a growing event which I'm sure the CSG would like to check out.
You can send in lists of fish you are bringing which will be listed for free on the website. People could come especially to buy the fish you are listing. We update the site daily up to the event.
