Maidenhead Aquatics have been known to have them. Trimar in the opposite corner of England (Cornwall) does mail-order, and have had them in stock before.

I just sat down for a smoke break. It is exhausting work catching baby L134. 25 down, about 30 more to go. You might want to think twice about trying to breed these because the fry are too hard to net.
Seriously, Peckoltia L134 have seemed to be in short supply for sometime.
Anyone know of a good trap for these things?

Larry, you might try a technique I borrowed from Koi breeders & works great with my bristlenoses. Take the opportunity to do a big 50% water change. Then remove all furniture from the tank. Syphon the tank to +/- 2" depth into a clean container. Now use two large nets, at least 8" in width to catch the fry, the technique is like if you were preparing a salad with 2 large spoons (eg. steer the fry to the opposite net & vice-versa). You'll be surprised how easy this is. Replace the furniture. Pump the water from the container back to the tank. Fill up the extra 50% with new water. Good luck.

Hi Dan,
I was kidding around.
I used that same technique. I had so many in the tank that they would school when chased. I just let one large net lay flat and chased them towards and over it with one hand and scooped them up in the large net with the other. I removed ~50 fry. The breeders are apparently on some new spawns. The males keep the females trapped for very long times. Easily up to five days to a week.

Lucky you Larry. I got long ways to go with my breeding projects. I got 4 x 20 gal long tanks, top 2 are 8X L046 Zebras...growing juvies. Middle two are 7 x L134 (about 3-3.5" in size) and 7 x L066...now these are wild-caughts and caving....hopefully these will get me started...
