Do some people know L046 the PH value to be allowed high to how many?

Because I recently designed that L046 tank, in tank placed was the stone, I discovered the ph value at present is 7.82, such L046 long-term life may?

I will try to fall the ph value to 7.2-6.8.

H. zebra is very adaptable to high pH levels. The first captive spawning I heard about, years ago, actually took place in a Tanganyika rift lake cichlid tank! It may not be ideal, but this fish does not seem very sensitive.

Mine is doing well at 7.6, was raised in a 7.4 tank. I wouldn't worry.

hi my friend has 4 L46 in a tank with a ph of 8.0 and they seem to be doing fine.. They have been with him for more than a year now, so I guess that they are pretty much doin fine with high ph..

I also keep mine at a pH of about 8. I have heard that the pH really doesn't matter when it comes to reproducing. The only problem is that the eggs may not be as sticky.

it is always better to keep the fish in the same or closer water parameters where they came from, but my tap water comes out as high as 8.2 and very hard but my fish still managed to breed in this water, a constant water parameter is better than trying to adjust it less trouble on your part, after quarantine and acclimating new fish they should be able to handle a lot of abuse.
