I have a group of five Synodontis nigriventris and two of them have recently caught on to eating the pleco's cucumber. Has anyone seen this happen before?

This does not surprise me at all, I think most syno's will eat some vegetable matter once they figure out what it is, my angelicus are downright piggish about it and will even come out during the day to take bites out of whatever I have supplied, I have seen nigriventris nibbling on it as well.

Most of my tang's will have a go at a variety of "greens" although as far as Nigriventris goes i've only seen them eat shelled butter beans & cooked french/dwarf beans

I have seen notatus and eupterus do it, but nigriventris surprised me. It will be interesting to see if they all learn.

My hoplos sometimes unsuccessfully try to eat cucumber. Their mouths aren't the right shape for it.
