Hello I am new here and I have a question concerning the max size of L.pictus . I have heard they only reach 18". On this site they say they max out at 24" but I have heard some of you guys say they can get 32"..So what is there max size? Also I know that they are a lagre pim so I am guessing they are predatory. Will they eat a fish thats half their size?

my favorit cat.. my old L pictus is around 25 inches now.. a freind has him in a 1600 gallon..

they are super eaters.. they eat more then RTCs and are more people catfish (they Will get to know the owner) fastest growing catfish IMO..

30 inches is MAX.. i belive i saw a pic of a 29 incher a year ago.. but Catfish hunter (my pictus) is said to still have steady growth even at 25 inches..
