For some reason I cannot edit my cats' page, even if every control to do so is present on the page...

So, do you see the "edit" link on your my cats page? If so, what happens when you click it?

Yes I can see it, and once I click on it, it say that I can't edit the list and it propose me to go to my list...

I've double checked all this now, and it should work. The only thing that would now cause a problem would be if you are using an old cookie etc., which should be impossible given how long ago now you changed your forum username.

So, can you try to edit again? If you still have a problem, what I could do is change your password and log in as you to see what the problem is. You wouldn't be able to log in until I was finished. Let me know if it's still and problem and if it is OK to hijack your account for a little while to otherwise test the problem.

Ok I have tried but it ended as the same result..impossible to change anything!!
No problem for you to Hijack my account!!!
Password is still the same than the last time you changed it... ****** ;)

I was able to login as you, click on edit my cats and leave the comment that I did in your C. perugiae entry. So, it worked first time, no problem using the firefox browser under windows vista business.

This tells me that the issue has to be with your change of username and something stored on your browser/computer with the old name on it. It must be! That said, I think you said you had removed all cookies etc?

Can you try it from a computer you have never used before?

Ok it works for some species, but for some other species, I can't edit or remove the species in double, probably because of the old user name

All fixed, it was a data error when I had changed your username. Any problems, let me know (it's a fiddly job) but I tested several species that didn't work and now they can be edited.

just a few that i still can't edit and 2 double that I can't remove otherwise everythinig is fine!!

Aha! You had more than one page of my cats entries when I looked on the database and I didn't spot that. I have now gone through all of them and I think I have got them all fixed.
