The way I celebrated my Birthday (sept.2nd)

Well I woke up and played a little zelda seeing I took the day off from work and classes don't start until Friday for me (Senior year at Carroll University.) I decided I would go look at my favorite LFS for something that might catch my eye. Well that really sucked! I found so many fish that caught my eye [6 apisto. borelii (2m/4f), an L204 (about 2" @$40 which is too much), and a bunch of neat tetras (gold neon, blacks, blue emperor, bloodfin, glassbloodfin, etc.) I decided first off to get a nice batch of frozen bloodworms for my L201's and L129's to suck on ( not to mention the apisto. stein....). Then after two containers of that I realized I still had $20 on a gift card. I honestly wish I would have had my 33 gallon L set up because I could have gotten the L204 for $30 , but I didn't want to overcrowd my 20 gal L pleco tank. I had also noticed that the borelii used to just hide in the driftwood in the LFS tank, but with the added red eyed tetras, they were out more. Well I got 6 of them (about1.25" maybe 1.5") for $9 and decided to see if they will draw out my apistos more. Well after the 20 minute drive back to my appartment, I released the tetras into the tank (after acclamation as well.) Then after getting lunch made, I glanced over at that dark tank and noticed a large school of fish swimming. There were 14 fish swimming in a school. So cool to see. Then I had an internship interview which I felt went extremely well. Now after everyone gets home, we are going out for dinner.

Everyone have a great day like mine!

22 and loving it,

NV

i know it seems like alot, but they are all really young (except the L129's). I am working on getting that 33 gall up asap, but being away at school dampers the process. I will be spliting the apisto/plecos up amongst 2x 20 gal L's in the near future (once the gymnogeophagus balzani grow to 2.5")
