Hello Farid,

I personally really love 3d-ruckwand section.

Could you please, tell me what is this made from and what painting did you use?

Regards.

My german isn't very good, but it says "PU foam" - Polyurethane foam, and the paint is a two-component Epoxy based paint.

Edit: And welcome Farid.

hi guys,
so...the white stuff is Styro foam (what ever the name in english is) it is white packing material...with lots of little foam bubbles

the black layer is epoxy (dont know the full name) so as matt writes... a 2 componend (liquid plastic)...mixed with black colour. so i could see the thickness of the material. i made about 4-5 layers with epoxy and always on top some kind of cotton net as armour. the wall is about 3-4mm thick. before i started with the epoxy i used a layer of wax based liquid to get a "separation layer" so it was quite easy to get the styro foam out of the form.
the theatre painter sprayed the whole thing to look like rock...shadows etc. not needed at all!! as algae grow in the first 3 weeks!

on top of everything i added a last layer and covered it in quarz sand (the grey sand, people use for birds (calcium free) so the top layer was not shiny anymore and the algae can hold on better...

i hope you understand the first try to explain it to you  (swiss)

regards
farid
