Hello! Everyone again !!!
I have a question to ask about my WILD BROCHIS MULTIRADIATUS. I have some WILD Brochis Multiradiatus, but not many, but I will plan to buy some more later on whenever I can find distributor or importer who has some of them. But, I am worried about them very much because ALL MY WILD BROCHIS MULTIRADIATUS won't eat dried buttom catfish foods even though I've always tried to feed them many famous brand name of catfish foods, but they won't eat or eat very so little. I really want them to eat dried button catfish foods because sometimes I cannot feed them FROZEN FOODS or ALIVE FOODs all the time. All my WILD Corydoras love to eat all dried buttom catfish foods and never say NO for all dried catfish foods EXCEPT my WILD BROCHIS MULTIRADIATUS. I really want them to eat as same as all my WILD Corydoras. Can someone help me HOW I CAN MAKE ALL MY WILD BROCHIS MULTIRADIATUS eat dried buttom catfish foods? It will be greatly appricated very much. I will wait for any suggestions. Thank you very much again.

B. multiradiatus can be notoriously difficult to acclimatise to dried foods. Some very experienced fishkeepers have only been successfull with them by feeding chopped earthworm, frozen foods and of course, live chironomid larvae, daphnia and the like.

At least in the short term, you should give them the foods they will eat until they are settled after importation and then try to gradually wean them on to more easily available foods, but continue to supplement with the meatier foods they obviously prefer.

This is one of those times where lot's of patience is needed.

Once the fish are settled you could try & slowly introduce prepared proprietry dry foods in small amounts. I would not feed for a couple of days & then try something like flake or tetra prima than had been mixed with liquidised frozen bloodworm or liquidised earthworms & rested for a while - so that the flavours of the live/frozen food has soaked into the flake/granules making it a little bit more familiar & appetising, keep this up for a while, then fast for a day or so & then feed untreated flake/granules. If not taken readily - start the process again & persevere! Any fish should be offered as much variety as possible.
