A vote for catfish

All~
Practical Fishkeeping magazine are running an online poll to decide which of three articles they feature in the April issue. The choices are:
Bleher on Rainbowfish
Ros (and a bit from me) on
and
Williams on
Amphilophus
Now, I'm a great fan of all these articles, but I'd like to fly the catfish flag (and especially the "ugly" catfish flag), so would ask anyone and everyone to go visit the site and vote as you will (but for the catfish

).
Overviews of the articles are here:
http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/p ... blogid=241 and you just click on teh "vote for this article" link under the article you wish.
Please feel free to post here if you wish to tell us what you voted for, why and indeed if you didn't vote.
I'd like to turn it around as the catfish article is not out in front...
Cheers,
Jools

More reason for everyone to vote for the catfish!
Thanks Mats, well done on getting the first one in.

Voting done
Cats are way behind rainbowfish
I would hate for anyone to repeatedly mass-vote , to artificially swing things......

Of course, we'd want the outcome to be a fair result. However, I wasn't sure but don't you have to be registered with the site to vote?

Yup, fair enough, we just need as many who are (or can be bothered registering) to get their votes in!

It doesn't appear to allow you to vote more then once. Just in case anyone was interested. Just purely as a test situaton I tried.

The pie percentage doesn't change.

yes, you must register before you can vote
unfortunately that's not the case.
registrating would be free, but this isn't; it's a subscription with a price tag.....and I ain't subscribing.
after the debacle with another (Dutch) fishkeepers community (of wich I was a paying member for almost a decade) I decided not to do that anymore
bummer, cause I'd gladly vote for Jools' article. but I ain't committing myself financially to something I have no ties with.

You DO NOT have to pay to register (to use the website fully). You DO have to pay to subscribe (to get the magazine).

I would vote for the ugly catfish but I won't register.
I am already registered for accessing the site and posting comments but I guess that isn't good enough to vote.
Rainbows are pretty...just like goldfish are pretty. Rainbows and Rift Lake Cichlids are so boring.

I have the free registration, and
YES, you can vote with it.
I never used the site before because I thought it was a paid site. There is the free and paid registration option.
Free option allows one to vote, and there's good info to be had as well ... I'm glad I registered.
