Most effective treatment for louse

Have just been looking closely at my 'Auchenipterids r us' tank and spotted something odd on one of the C.perugiae, then looking harder, there are several Tatia sp(2), and at least two of the four C.perugiae that have argulus (fish louse). I have no idea where they came from as have not introduced anything recently, except for the Parotocinclus cf epelyi which survived only a few weeks, bt had no sign of anything - I gues they could have been carrying them...but I just am not sure.
Anyway, what's the most effective treatment (available in the UK) for louse? I'm guessing I won't be able to pick them off as the fish are difficult to catch and reasonably small, so would like to treat the tank to ensure everything get's treated.
I've been preoccupied with my recent holiday and other stuff and haven't paid much attention except for feeding, so am embarassed I didn't spot this sooner, but what I need to do now is get rid of them and try to ensure I don't get them back. I know I should be using a QT tank, but just don't have the room for any more tanks, so have, to date at least, taken my chances.
Thanks in advance
Martin

As far as I know, the most effective (and least harmful to the fish etc) is to catch each fish and pick them off.

I'd second this but it'll be tricky with the fish you've got. I've only ever manually removed (from large SA pims mostly)

Thanks.
But this won't deal with any lice eggs will it?

As far as I understand, they do not reproduce very quickly, so just keep an eye out for new ones and pick them off...
