Hello! Everyone
I really want to know what Cf. means such as Corydoras cf. arcuatus, Corydoras cf. cochui, Corydoras cf. eques, and so on. Can someone help? It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Cf means "confer", and is used to indicate that the species if SIMILAR TO, but not definitely, that species - it may be that it comes from outside the recognized area of the identified species, or it is different enough to say "it may not be this species, but it certainly looks almost the same".
