cat-e-log shows there is a single species in this genus but there is nothing named when clicked? I know we don't add things for th sake of it but this seems odd & i haven't encountered an empty genus before.....

has one species of that genus. Have no idea what is up with the cat-elog.

Edit: Using the search, I can't find a species attached to this genus, so maybe Jools is in the process of adding/removing/moving some species?

Yes, Rheoglanis is in there because it was the home of a species for a while. I can just remove it.

But certainly no reason to remove it, is there - it's still a valid genus?

Well, the stats on the site would then be a bit misleading. I mean, they say we've got x genera when that includes genera without species attached. I'm of the mind that unless there is data attached to it then I'm happy to delete it.
