Finally after a very long wait, the importer finally brught in some corydoras duplicareus last night.
i went to take at look and buy some, but the cories stuill seem to be in bad shape, there was 1 lying on its side, so decided not to bring some home yet, how soon can i bring them home?
I'm a little worried that they might be sold out :(

I would ask him if he is willing to inform you once they are in a saleable condition - as the wholesaler, he should be ensuring the fish are fit and healthy before selling them on, so unless he loses them all, or is selling them irrespective of their condition, you should be OK to wait until he is happy to sell them.

Are you able to quarantine them? If there are any signs that they are not well, even the healthiest looking specimens could be unwell at a later date. If he's willing to reserve them, why not let him for another week just to be on the safe side. If you can quarantine them, then I guess you should be OK.
Good luck, and post some photos of your new when they are settled in.

they are in a big styro container with an old sponge from my other tank.

will adding melafix to quarantine tank be a good move? or should i just observe them without adding any medication?
also i don't have any tubifex , can i feed them tetra bits? i'm not sure if they'll accept tetrabits since importer fed them with tubifex.
btw when do i try to feed them?

thanks.

btw here's a video of them after being released in quarantine tank

Would it be advisable to deworm this new cories? or will it be better to deworm whole tank with the old cories included when they are all together?
Planning to use levamisole HCl for dewormer.

I'd suggest you avoid feeding with tubifex anyway, and try Tetrabits as they should not be too fussy.
If you can keep them seperate for enough time to apply a full course of de-worming treatment, then I would suggest you do it that way. You should also treat for parasites (gill flukes etc).
Good luck
