C. Perugiae breeders

I have a breeding trio of the above and have had 4 spawns from them but each time the fry perish due to starvation, i have tried using hikari first bites and cyclops and have always fed them when the tank is in total darkness and am aware that these fry only eat from the surface of the water for the first few months of their lives and in complete darkness. Could anyone share their feeding regimes with me as i have a fifth batch nearly ready to start taking solids. The one thing i have done different this time is put the eggs/fry in a shallow tupperware bowl with an airstone and daily water changes hoping that the depth will not hinder the young ones to find food before they exhaust themselves. many thanks

Steve

Man, does anyone have these in the US! Everyone I see posting about them is in the UK. :(

I think either ahodge or nvcichlids has a group of them.

I also know the first breeding report was made recently by a Swedish member about two years back (not that it helps much, but it's not in the UK).

I did see a pair in AquaLife, but I already had four lots of fish to take home from my CSG shop-trips (well, three lots from the shop-trips, one from Richard B who picked up some "used" fish for me earlier in the year).

Taratron,

I know that they're in the US, and there was even a large group for sale the last time I was in Pets Inc., a couple months ago. They were all males though. I believe they are long gone now though. They're out there, but you have to look to find them.
