Tankmate for Giraffe

I have a 28"TL Giraffe Catfish that is presently living on it's own in an 850 litre (~100 US gallon) tank, and I was wanting to put something else in with him. I've had to remove all decor except some pieces of bogwood, as he was chucking it all around (including a 4kg terracotta 5" diameter, 16" long land drain pipe). Substrate is nearly all sand. He tends to be very inquisitive when anything is put in the tank, so the new tank mate needs to be either able to handle this, or can move away. Any suggestions, please?

Presuming the tank is big enough (footprint) you could consider...

...from the doradidiae family. O.niger, p.granulosus & m.uranoscopus are the most frequently seen (Pier Aquatics had some extremely nice P.Rivasi a short while ago.

maybe you'd consider or (which i've seen kept with giraffes on a number of ocasions.
