I have 2 angelicus plecos, when I bought them I thought one was male and one female because one had a broader head.
I have noticed the one with the broader head has tusks growing out of the side of his face (sorry I dont know what they are called) is this a way to sex them in these plecos?
Thanks,
Connie

In a way. The odontodes (tusks) would be much longer in a male. You should also see similar structures developing on the pectoral spine and the body.
