Hello, enjoyed keeping plecos, then called algae eaters since 1979, in my first community tank. Of course outgrew the tank and ended up keeping till old age in 40Gal Breeder tank. Currently have an assortment of male/female Zebra L-046(wild Caught) since 2000, a large royal l -190 12" a new green phantum L-200 5' and two mangos l047 in 2 large tanks. Also in other large tanks a 13" Serrasalmus rhombeus Peru , Also a gold piranha 6" and another smaller black piranha 6", from Guyana in other separate tanks. I use large pond filters in my tanks with a lot of frequent small water changes, keeping careful eye on the new waters temperature used to top-off, and varied diet of greens and live foods also varied pellet foods, my piranha love smelt and earthworms, with pellet foods stuffed inside. Take Care
