Hi there. I have a shrimp tank that is infested with copepods and I was thinking of adding C. pygmaeus and/or C. habrosus. Would these guys eat the copepods, and would they also eat the shrimplets? Thank you.

I keep a thriving Cherry shrimp colony in both my permanent breeding set ups of Corydoras hastatus and C. habrosus.
I don't think they will help with your copepod control. Sounds like more frequent hydrovacuuming of your substrate is in order.
Those little bugs often live off decaying organic matter, ime. It is unusual for the copepods to become so numerous as to be a problem. In some ways, having a few could be regarded as a sign of a well matured tank with a complex ecosystem.
