Hi all!

- Is there anyone, who have experience with the blue eyed pleco (black panaque with blue eyes)?

I´m considering buying one - but have had second thoughts since I read, that they eat plants.

err how much do they cost in denmark?
"normal" price here for them is around 400 ? even off private hands
If you buy a fish that expensive you should give him the optimal tank setup possible...imho this is not a community fish

Agree with Caol_ila on that one. Make sure that the tank you set up is mainly for pl*cs and not anything else. I am sure that if they are well fed, they will not eat your plants. Well fed means feeding the blue eyed panaques directly and not having some other more voracious fish feast on the food intended for the panaque.

Do not intend for them to just be clean up fish.

you can check at http://www.redlist.org which animals are extinct or close to it...Panaque cochliodon and suttonorum arent in that list...

Hi, you can actually buy these fish in Denmark? I have not seen 1 for 14 years when they sold for about £20 approx 30Euro. They have always been tricky to keep and to get feeding so buy wisely. As with most L nos don't buy if eyes are sunken as this fish will never recover. Can you find out which wholesale imported them? When did the name change from Panaque Suttoni?
