Can Brachyrhamdia Meesi tolerate salt for Ich. treatment?

As titled. My new catfish in quarantine has developed ich and I do not know if this species will tolerate medicinal dosages of salt and temps of 86ºF. If not, which ich med is best for him? Perhaps Formalin?

Time is running out for Meesi. If nobody knows, it's Formalin by tonight.

I am not really sure how sensitive this species is but

Are you already using the salt?

Stick to what you are doing , do not throw too many different things at the fish as they do not need more stress.

High heat and salt or meds plus daily water changes with vacuuming of the substrate and you could also keep the tank in total darkness.

I've done nothing yet. I think I'll go with formalin, though. It didn't hurt my raphael and since salt is terrible for many catfish, I guess that's a go. Thanks.
