Hi,
I have 3 fish wich came in with the L66 last March. I haven't got a clue what species it is. I think it is a hypancistrus but I don't know for sure.
Here is a picture of the baby from last March:
Sorry for the condition it's in.......they share there tank with young L66 and there is plenty of food
Thanks in advance,
Jacqueline

Hi Jac,
Have you seen this post?

I know a lot of these guys look the same, but the shape and stress colourations look remarkably similar (too me at least) as my first set of pictures.

Geoff,
Your fish is a Peckoltia species and Jac's is a Hypancistrus species
The best choice is L270, first it come with L66 and second even if they are stress coloured the shape and pattern match L270 very well.

Thanks Janne,
I have very little experience with Hypancistrus species, and with Jac saying she wasn't quite sure if it was a Hypancistrus and with no photo of the teeth, I thought I would just "put it out there"...
