Top menu bar not working?

Normally when you point at the top bar menu it'll show boxes with options; they don't show up over here atm.
You have to click them in order to get them working.

Works for me (as in, hovering over "Cat-eLog" menu at the top of the page, shows the Cat-eLog menu items as I expect).

Yes, something to do with your environment Marc, you might start by telling us what browser you are using.

I've had to switch to Internet Explorer 6 since Firefox 2 stopped working, and only the Cat-eLog and CotM tabs have anything in them. Another issue- the Amazon link won't work in my version of IE6 (and I can't get to it in Firefox 2) so Planet Catfish isn't receiving any income for my Amazon purchases from work.

I'd certainly upgrade from MSIE6 and indeed Firefox 3 - not because of Planet but rather the security risk inherent in older versions of MSIE and becuase Firefox 3 is a fair bit faster than 2.
I don't think I've got anything old enough to test this with. Anyone else running MSIE6 can comment on the issue?

Hi Jools- upgrading is out of my hands- we don't have download permission on work PCs so we're stuck with what systems give us. My home PC is up to date, but I use Planet Catfish less at home- it's just more convenient to log in at lunchtime.

OK, it should still work however, so the point about someone else confirming the issue in MSIE6 would help work out if it's your specific work environment or true MSIE6 problem.

As far as I know, Carp37 doesn't work in my office in London, so I'd say that's been confirmed.
And I think the problems with Firefox 2 has been fixed now.

Sorry Mats, are you saying that using MSIE6 you also have the same problem?

Yes, using MSIE6, I get "empty rectangles" when I hover on the "Shane's world" and "Forum" items at the very least. It seems to be a bit "random" what actually happens [or I've got bit-errors in my memory], as I seem to remember that the CotM item wasn't working either, but it is now that I tried again.
Attached is a (partial) screen shot...

The menu bar software I am using (
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicinde ... inkcss.htm) says it works with FF1+ and IE5+, so it's down to me to debug I guess.

Latest FF (3.1.5 - or something like that). However, over here everything is working again like it should.
Whatever you did, thanks.

Latest firefox as of last week is 3.5.4 ... Which appears to work OK for me.

Well, I did nothing, so I think it was a correction in Firefox.
