What is the name of this fish???

Hi!

Well the genus is for sure a Sturisoma, now regarding the species maybe you shall wait a bit and let it grow a bit so it will be easier the determine.
2 possibilities: either S. aureum or S. festivum...
they are usually the most commonly find in shop around the world!

Thanks for the quick reply! How big do these normally grow??

Hi!

they grow up to 8 inches ( without the tail's filament!!)
Check in the Shane world section and in Catfish of the month, you'll get plenty of information regarding keeping, feeding, breeding these...

I have been a visitor of this forum for now a year or so, just had never registered on the forum, but now I know its a great way to find out things quickly :)
