best environment for oil catfish ?

Will they be better in a warmer water temperature like 82-83 degree versus a 78 degree? I have option to do a smaller bio cube tank
or they thrive in better cooler water in the 78 degree range? Reason I'm asking to see if its possible to combine L046 or L270 into that biocube tank or is it just a silly notation? I do feel that the L270s or L046s would take the bottom regions while the oils can take the top areas of the bio setup? I also got L010A I can combine with the if it won't work out with the plecs?
I definely have to move out my group of out of the sultan group setup because there are two huge raphaels that I promised I'll give a home for is going in there. one is a 10+ incher and other one is a 6+ incher- they're nice specimens though two different species. Circumstances I rather not go into. They're currently in the QT tank and in two-three weeks time they're going into the tank. I yet haven't decided to switch out the tanks and move stock around as am going to do a DIY jet system as well too just haven't decided which group would benefit the most from it.
Same goes for the dwarf cory group I got in there as well too. I'm going to be working on getting better pictures for 100 percent ID this weekend. Will go either direction with the group it can go in with my panda cory setup with the T. Exilis and CPDs or go with the oil catfish where they end up.
