My first port of call on PC is always the "View active topics" link:
http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/sear ... ive_topics.
But recently, this has only been displaying some of the forums (e.g. What is my catfish?, For sale, Wanted). The main page shows everything.
Here is a screenshot if that helps.

Ditto. I have to log on to look at the new posts too.
And the 'active topics' show only 7 days even after resetting to two weeks. Can we make the 'active topic' settings-choice permanent?

Where do we click on that, view active topics? I keep looking and I must just be missing it.

If you click on "Board Index", you will find a row of links just above the grouping "Identification", where it has "View unanswered posts", "View New Posts" (I think this one only works/exists if you are logged in - I never "don't log in", so I'm not sure) and "View Active Topics".
And I can confirm that it's the same for me, only "What's my catfish?" posts are listed.

well, thanks, that does make site navigation more easier! Been two years here maybe three almost and I never did or saw that.
I just get what's my catfish also.

I've tried this twice now and it's fine. For example, just now there is a post in taxonomy & science news in third place.

I still don't think this works RIGHT - the only caveat is that I'm not entirely sure what constitutes "active topcis" - I read it as "topics with posts in recent days" - maybe the "rule" is something else?
The reason I think it's not correct is that almost all posts are from "What's my catfish?" - here's what I found, and I marked the ones that are NOT in the "What's my catfish?" with a red colour....
