Hey guys
just then i found round a heap of eggs layed by my blue ram pair!!!

the only thing im worried about is that i have 4 redatil rasboras in there and im thinking when the babis hatch, the rasboras will eat them. and the other probelm is that one of the rasboras have popeye which needs to be treated
should i take them out of the tank?
the tank is an aquastart 500
other companions are Foerschi whiptails and 2 otocinlcus!! im so excited!! and another lonely male which i have no idea how it ogt there in the first place!!
the parents havent eaten a egg yet.

The parents should guard the eggs/fry for quite some time, so I don't think that's really a problem.

But like always, having a bunch of other fish in a breeding tank is not really ideal...

its not really a breeding tank! more realy a show/community tank which is in our dining room!

when do the fry become free swimming?

Best to move the Rasbora to a treatment tank

congratulations!
Rams make good parents, although you might find they eat the eggs first time around, but the female will be ripe with eggs fairly quickly. It would be good if you can remove the rasboras, although this might disturb the rams for a short time (rasboras can be difficult to catch in an aquascaped tank).
The other occupants might eat the eggs during the night, so it might be a good idea to leave a room light on, so that the rams can see to defend the eggs. They should hatch in 2 days and are very soon free-swimming. I don't know what filtration you have on the tank, but if its powerful it will suck in the fry. Ideally, you would have a very mature air-powered sponge filter.

By blue rams do you mean normal rams or electric blue like these ? >>>>>>>> http://www.aquaticquotient.com/gallery/ ... 000551.jpg

I saw some electric blue rams today at Wholesale tropicals (£14.00 each) , stunning looking fish.
None of the photo's on google do them justice, i think they should be renamed Metallic blue rams :D

Ps ... congrats

they arent the electric blue rams

today i saw some infertile eggs and the parents inly hung around the eggs not even eating them or fanning them so i did a water change and used a slow moving current to rub off any fungus i think the eggs will hatch either tomorrow or even today! when i do see fry i plan to syphon them out in a small seperate container
