Has anyone been or is anyone going to http://www.starwarsinconcert.com/.
I've just booked 3 ticket's for the show in Glasgow at the SECC on March 13th for me,my young son and my nephew whose 24.

All 3 of us share the same name and a LOVE of Star Wars and are all pretty much hyper about hearing the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and a choir perform music from the film's while scene's from the film's are show on a 3 storey high screen, the whole event is narrated by Anthony Daniel's (who was C-3PO in all 6 of the film's),it should be quite an amazing experiance for Star Wars fans, may the force be with us all.

Okay, I have to admit it, I've been to an event like this.
I'm a huge Sci-Fi fan, a few years ago the Symphony Hall in Birmingham hosted a Sci-Fi spectacular, hosted by Anthony Daniels. All the great film scores; Star Wars, Star Trek, Alien, 2001, etc etc.
He's not in the C3PO costume though, which would have been fab.
It was superb! You will enjoy.....

Thank's,I'm sure we will enjoy very much :D

I'm really looking forward to hearing an orchestra and choir live, that along with the whole Star Wars experience it really should be quite amazing.

My first thought was:

Yeah, it's a must do! I _think_ we're getting tickets for the one in London.

I would love to see this event in the U.S. bronzefry, I have family over there but it's been a long time since I visited them,I'm sending my cousin some pic's of her visit to Hadrian's wall and Fort Vindolanda when she was over here last year, her's did'nt turn out.

What a great poster Jools,I enjoyed that,it's just a shame I only have a choice of which one of my 2 Star Wars T-shirt's to wear to this event,I'm so jealous of all my son's Clone Wars clothes

I had a look at getting tickets for London (the only one within reasonable distance from where I live), but when I found out that the only tickets available where £107 _each_, I sort of said, not that's probably not for me. I was planning to take Lawrence, age 5...

If only I had kept some of the Star Wars stuff from when I was a child I maybe could afford a fish room, that would be full of rare and exotic catfishes :D

The only real Star Wars collectable I have is number's 1 to 20 of the original comic's that came out after the first film,I'll have to start hiding all that Lego from my son

Those ticket price's are a good example of the north, south divide Mats.
There was ticket's available for only £25 for the Friday night show at the SECC and I only had to pay £45 per ticket and those were the second most expensive, the most expensive seat's were £75.
It's a real shame venues put price's way up as soon as they are in London.

Well, maybe if I had decided EARLIER, the £35 tickets that they advertised but didn't have any of would have been available.

Seats at £100+ did look pretty good, close to the stage and all that. But it's a bit too much - especially as I'm not a huge Star Wars fan myself.
