What's the name of this cory?
It looks to me as an elegans. Any of you to confirm? Is it a male/female?

It would help if you actually attached the photos here.
But I suspect it's a
or similar. I could well be wrong. Sexing is hard on a single cory, as the best way to sex them is to look at a group from above (assuming they are adult and well fed enough) - the females will be bigger/fatter.

Thanks for the quick reply. My pictures where to big to post over here, but you got a point.
Differance between the two(off course there are more in the tank) is the dorsalfin. One got a 'angele' the other one is a round shape. That's why i guessed it was a male/female elegans.
Thanks

Not sure if this works for others, as some forums block "hot-linking" of forum content - so it may only work when you've viewd the images on the other site.
Some corys do indeed have dorsal differences between males and females.

Ok. Since I'm a lazy person, I'll explain what I did: Right-click on the image in the other forum, then select "Copy image location", switch over to Planet Catfish, paste it in, and then selecct and click the "img" button.

I'm hopeless on elegans-complex corys- I think Mats is right in that it's a species similar to elegans, but there are so many similar-looking species in this complex that you really need someone like Ian Fuller (Coryman) to give an ID.

Do you think the corry on the last picture has a problem with the fin on his back?

It is missing a chunk of the dorsal fin, but I wouldn't think it's a huge problem - this sort of injury heals pretty easily.

Thanks again!
'wound' stays the same, so i don't think it is a bacterial infection.
