Feeding egg yolk.

I happen to watch my syno multis spawn with some peacocks. I was able to keep the fish away before the eggs got eaten. I think I have about 2 dozen cat eggs. I'm curious if anyone has fed hard boiled egg yolk (chicken) to syno multi fry. I thought of starting these on frozen baby brine shrimp. I thought after a few days, I would try hard boiled egg yolk.
If anyone has tried this, let me know. If it's not a good idea, also let me know. I just started tumbling eggs yesturday.
Thanks,
Steve

Although I never visited Africa, I'm quite certain, nobody there is boiling eggs to feed the synos
I can imagine you intend to feed cuckoo synos yolk - after all, that is what they would be eating in the mouth of a cichlid, but than prepare the yolk differently
Personally, I think the main difference between chicken and fish yolk is in the cel membrane, the chicken have a fat which is on the brink of liquid at 42 C, fish much lower. Thus, I'd say remouve the membrane
Cooking an egg will, I think, have a huge impack on the matter. Therefore, I think you better feed uncooked yolk - that is, smear the stuff on a stone (a flat one will be easiest) and let it dry - in the sun, for instance
The dried yolk will not flow away, and be much more similar to fisheggs then cooked yolk

I see I have about 12-15 wigglers this morning. I think I'll go with the frozen baby brine shrimp. Hopefully I'll get a good turn out on this batch. Next time I order food, I may try the decapsulated brine shrimp eggs.
