i have a 120 gallon tank with a colony of s petriola and some m praecox rainbows, even though i quaratined the rainbows the seller has advised me that there seems to be a problem with anchor worm and or other parasites. although i don't see anything that would point to anchor worm the rainbowfish don't look great and i have notices the synos "flashing" so i want to treat the tank, i have been advised that praziquantel is the way to go, does anyone have any experience with this and scaleless catfish?

All of the commonly used anti-parasite medictions are fairly "mild" on the fish, and yet effective on the parasites. Praziquantel is one of those - you need to overdoze by a large amount (like 10x) for it to be even a small problem to the fish...

it would appear as if i have more problems than i thought, can i use quinine sulfate (for ich) and praziquantel (anchor worm) at the same time?

As a general rule I would not mix medications concurrently. Treat he most immediate threat first.
