This is a good introduction to the malady and treatments.
If you are planning to post about a fish that is ill, please remember to provide as MUCH of this information as possible. If you can, a picture would be a great help. We can't help you without the information necessary to get a complete picture.

1. Water parameters
a) Temerature range.
b) pH.
c) GH.
d) KH
e)Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, levels.
f) Water change frequency
(Most LFS's will check your water and give a list of readings).

2. Tank set up
a) Size.
b) Substrate.
c) Filtration.
d) Furnishings.
e) Other tank mates.
f) How long has it been set-up?
g) When was the last new fish added?
h) Foods used and frequency?

3. Symptoms / Problem description

4. Action taken (if any)

5. Medications used (if any)

Any posts without this sort of information will only slow down our ability to give you the help you want. Please help us help you.

I had an outbreak of something similar when I got my , and I used a general Ich medication [check that it's "suitable for scale-less fish", as all catfish have no scales - despite the armoured look of these fish, the skin is on the outside of the armour!].

These are fairly hardy fish, so beyond curing the fish, you will want to figure out what the actual cause of the illness is - it's commonly water quality problems, but could be other causes too.

I also had success with a medication made for scaleless fish. It was called "Ich Guard II" and was a combo of formalin and another chemical. I want to say malachite green, but I can't remember for sure.
An opportunity to routinely impose a statement... I'll pass. ;)

It is probably Malachite Green... Rid-Ich has the same ingredients. They even have instructions for use with scaleless fish, if I remember correctly.
