I have a question for Silurus .
I see that you keep a couple of Amblyceps.
Are the compatable with other fish and are they esay to keep.
Would they be easer than weather loach ,I mean do they try to excape.

I'm not Silurus & have nowhere near his knowledge or expertise but have kept amblyceps before.
They are relatively easy to keep, mix well with a lot of fish (although they dislike some other bottom dwellers like mochokiella but do no real harm).
I have not known these to try & escape & therefore they are 'better' than weather loach, in fact these are really under-rated.

Not an unusual situation - I don't think I've seen Amblyceps more than once or twice - and I do travel around looking for unusual fish

I'd agree with Mats - they're not around often at all really
