Yet another Pl*co I.D. Please..

I keep many catfish but pl*co's not my specialty, I think it's a hypostomus species and different than my other common variety, it was more expensive as well. Current size is 6.5", kept in my cool water tank w/t. fulvidraco's at a temp. of 72F and seemingly growing and doing well... Thanks!

Wow! That took all of ten minutes! I went to the Cat-eLog and looked under that genus and yes, it does closely resemble some shown under p. pardalis, even though there seems to be several variations shown there... Here's another pic, a bit dark but better displaying finnage... Now I get to learn to pronounce pterygoplichthys! Thanks Mats

Yes, probably right - judging by the belly pattern on the picture in Cat-eLog of
, it is P. pardalis - or "Common Pleco", by another name.
Pterygoplichthys is pronounced "Terry-go-plik-tys" or something close to that.
