I just picked up 4 of these from my local LFS. He got them in Simply as Wild Cory's. How rare are these actually?

That's a great find. Not a common fish. What shop had them? Do they have any more? I would pay them a visit.

Yes, I would like to buy some too. Can you tell me where, what is the place name, and store phone number I can contact them? Thank you.

Bunthid or Max :)

Sorry I got the last 4 the distributor had.My guy had gotten a dozen from him a little over a month ago & all but 2 died. I bought the original 2 he had but they unfortunately didn't last long. So he did his monthy trip to the Distributor on Tues & the guy had these 4 left so he grabbed them for me.Im kinda suprised he still had them & noone else had figured out what they were.Ive got at least one male & 2 females the other IM not so sure about.ImageImage

They are certainly the real thing.

They have recently arrived here in the UK and I will have conformation tomorrow if another expected shipment has arrived. If so I will have some available.

I will be bringing a limited number to the All Catfish Convention next month, how many is difficult to say as baggage space will be at a premium.

I keep my group at around the 76ºF - 76ºF mark.

I have found them to be a very friendly Cory, they do not scatter and hide when anything moves near their tank and they eat like pigs.
