Hi, a friend of mine got this L (they are 2 but i only got pics of this one..) but we have no clue on what L# this might be..
can you id it plz ?

they are about 4-5cms now

It appears to be a small Pterygoplichthys of some sort &as such doesn't have an L number as it is a described species (most likely)

I *think* they are probably , be prepared for them to reach at least 15"!
This pic from the catelog looks exactly the same as yours:
