Lovely big male.

I could recommend something I use on a regular basis and it has proved to me the effectiveness of it time after time without making some dramatic changes in my environment.
I've copied and past the information on their website. http://www.junglelabs.com/pages/details.asp?item=TB636

Parasite Clear Tank Buddies

• Now with Praziquantel.
• Quickly clears external and internal parasites.
• Helps prevent secondary infections.
• Will not harm biological filtration.
• No need to raise the water temperature.
• STORE USE SIZE

Clears external and internal parasites. No need to raise the water temperature. Also helps prevent secondary infections and will not harm biological filtration. The fizz lets you know it's working!

Details: Wait 48 hours between treatments. Remove activated carbon. Change 25% of the water before each new treatment. For anchor worms, repeat treatment up to three times, once a week, for three weeks. For fish lice, treat once a week for three to five weeks. DO NOT OVERDOSE. Active ingredients: praziquantel; N-[[(N-Chlorophenyl)amino]carbon 1]-2,6-difluorobenzamide; metronidazole; acriflavine.

Let us know how it goes, they should clear in a week or so.

Thank you for the advise.

I just ordred it from Ebay. But it´s in a tablett form. I read on a forum that the plec has to eat it. Is that correct? Or can i just put it in the tank?

the tablets fizz up in the water and dissolve like, alka seltzer or something.

Yes that is correct.
They don't need to eat it.

Hi Unungy!

Just got the tablets. 8 pieces if them. Could you tell me how to treat them? I have 180 L Juwel. I guess with sand and every thing it would be arounf 150 L and it is 1 tablet per 40 L.

My question is, should i change water first. Should i put 3 tablets in the water, wate 48 hours, change 25 % of the water and put 3 new? Or should i wate one week for the next treatment?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay I was out of town and could not get to my computer... 150L-180L is about 175L-46.23010893 = 50G tank I'll say.
You need to put one table per 10 G's of water. A 25% water change before treatment - no water changes for 2 days =48 hrs. If they still there give it another 25% water change and wait for 2 days then start treating again.

You will need to remove any carbon media that you make have in there, also make sure the level of oxygen is good, I will increase it a little bit.
