Hey,

A hobbyist friend of mine from around here is in the UK for the next few weeks and is likely to stay at Macclesfield (40 Miles from Manchester Im told). Was wondering if anyone :

a) Could suggest LFS around this area.

b) Could invite him over for a cuppa so he can catch a glimpse of the British way of fish keeping.

Wigan, and Pier Aquatics is about 35 miles (55 km) from Macclesfield. One of the best fish-shops in this country, in my opinion.

Great!!!! I 've heard quite a bit 'bout Pier. Will make sure he visits it. Maybe convince him to bring back a fish or a dozen.

Now Il wait and see if I get offers for the second point.

just a short 12 h trip to the west and I'd happy to show your friend Belorussian-American way of fish-keeping.

He s on an official visit Victor. So I dont see him visiting your private river drainage.

Thanks for the offer though. Will let him know anyways.

Nope, just bring cash - you pay for each item as it's sold. And pay attention, as it's fairly rapid and no pre-view, so you need to decide then and there whether you want it or not...
