I bought a group of 5
3 weeks ago and after making one of the twice weekly water changes last night I was greeted with this this morning! Looks like there are 30-40 in total which I have rescued and are now in a floating trap. Fingers crossed that they are fertile

Thanks both. They look nice and healthy this morning, have turned a translucent yellow but no signs of fungus. How long do they typically take to hatch? 3-4 days? I've searched the articles and forum but can't find any reference to this.
Do any of the experienced breeders on PC have any particular tips for first feeds for the fry of this species if I'm lucky enough to get some hatch?

Most people recommend microworms and baby brineshrimp.
