Jools,
Since there is a link to the forums from planetcatfish.com, shouldn't there be one vice versa?
Looked all over the forums, but couldn't find a link back to the mother site.

Just click home in the top left corner

Clicking on the top left hand corner just takes you to
forum.planetcatfish.com. I was wondering if there is a link to
http://www.planetcatfish.com instead.

Have no idea what you guys are on about
I have
http://www.planetcatfish.com/core/index.htm in my favourites and enter the forum that way, then you get to keep the linkbanner at the top

You only have to ask

Ah, I see. Sorry about that.
The problem is that I bookmark the two sites separately, because I visit the forums more often than I visit planetcatfish.com (shame on me!).
As a compromise, would it be possible to insert a link for the "planetcatfish.com" title that lies on the top right corner?

@clothahump
Good thing you are facing towards the right, if not jools would have flipped you around

I just set this up. Try bookmarking
http://www.planetcatfish.com/core/forum.htm.

Jools,
Thanks for the attempted fix, but browsing with frames led to some funky things happening and I am back to bookmarking the forum by itself.
Any chance of making the planetcatfish.com on the upper right an active link?

I second that suggestion and would add that we should try to develop better overall integration between the forums and the rest of the site. E.g., open up every CotM and new article in other sections for Q&A discussion on the forum. I get the impression that some visitors to the forum seem oblivious to the existence of the rest of the site. Maybe they are referred to it by friends, link in directly and then never find a clear path to the other sections.

Rusty,
I'm thinking about having forum.planetcatfish.com as the title and underneath having "part of planetcatfish.com" or suchlike underneath with a link back to the parent site? How much .php editing is required to achieve this?

I'll look into it. It shouldn't be that bad.

The PlanetCatfish in "Welcome to the new PlanetCatfish forums!" is now a link to the home page. That should be enough for now.
